Funding & Grant Guidelines

Funding priorities
Meredith's Miracles Children's Foundation is committed to ensuring that financial hardship never prevents a child from receiving specialized medical care. Our funding priorities focus on providing assistance to children from birth through age 18 who reside within our 26-county service area in Alabama and must travel beyond their local community for specialty healthcare.

Funding is prioritized for eligible families needing assistance with non-medical travel expenses related to approved medical care, including:

* Fuel and transportation expenses
* Hotel accommodations for overnight medical trips
* Meals while traveling for medical care
* Airfare and other long-distance transportation when medically necessary
* Travel assistance for recurring treatments, surgeries, critical illnesses, and medical emergencies
* Support for families whose children require ongoing care at children's hospitals and specialty medical centers

Meredith's Miracles is dedicated to removing barriers to healthcare by easing the financial burden of medical travel, allowing families to focus on their child's health and well-being rather than the cost of getting to the care they need.
