THE CHARITABLE REAL ESTATE FOUNDATION IS A PUBLIC CHARITY OPERATING IN AFFILIATION WITH THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF GREATER BIRMINGHAM. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO ASSIST OTHER CHARITIES WITH DONATIONS OF REAL PROPERTY IN AN EFFORT TO MINIMIZE LIABILITIES AND RISKS TO THOSE CHARITIES, TO MAXIMIZE THE VALUE RECEIVED FROM THE DONATIONS, AND TO ENCOURAGE ADDITIONAL DONATIONS OF REAL PROPERTY AS A BENEFIT TO THE RESIDENTS OF GREATER BIRMINGHAM.
